Announcements

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the final decision on holding the 2020 SJLC annual Ice Cream Social has not yet been made. Hopefully a final decision will be forthcoming by mid August.

Our doors have been opened for worship inside the sanctuary with the appropriate measures taken to clean and sanitize with practicing social distancing.  For those who are still uncomfortable with coming inside, worship services will be available in a "drive-in" style in the parking lot.  Just come to the church parking lot, and tune your radio to 87.9 FM. Communion is offered in both the sanctuary and the parking lot.  Sermon videos of Sunday sermons will be available here and on our social media pages at a later time.

VBS Update:  This event has been tentatively rescheduled for October 10-11 at Faith Lutheran Church in Metropolis.  It will still be some type of drama presentation for children and all ages.  More info to come.

Walk Thru the Bible at Faith Lutheran Church that was scheduled for March 29 has been postponed until the second half of the year.  Details will be posted when information is available.
